World Book Day Celebrations

At Conifers, we celebrated World Book Day with lots of fun! Children had the opportunity to dress up as a book character of their choice for the day and we started with a whole school assembly where we showcased our costumes and listened to a story together. Each class chose a 'reading star' and they were presented with a golden badge and certificate for their improved positive attitudes towards reading at home. All year groups had a different book to focus on for the day and they all enjoyed partaking in lots of creative and enjoyable activities. The atmosphere around the school was very positive and full of laughter. We can't wait for next year!
