Y2: Art Outside The Classroom

Year 2 had a fantastic time learning outside the classroom this afternoon. We learnt about an artist called Andy Goldsworthy who made sculptures using natural materials such as leaves, stones, sticks and flowers. We worked in small groups to create a piece of art inspired by Andy Goldsworthy. It was lovely to see the children so engaged with their learning and talking about the various shapes and patterns they were creating. What a fun, learning experience outside with nature!
