Year 2 'My World' Impact Day

We had a great day today. The children came to school dressed up as a country of their choice. They introduced their country and shared a fact about that country with the class - some of them were really interesting! Did you know that Germany has over 1000 different types of sausages?!

We tasted and evaluated different foods from around the world. Some of the children were really surprised at what they liked and they were really grown up at ‘trying’ foods which they didn’t like the look of.

The children learnt about the 7 continents of the world, created their own paper plate globe and located the continents on it accordingly.
