Year 4 Enjoying Time in our Forest School

Year 4 have been enjoying their time in Forest School exploring flora and fauna and developing teamwork skills.

The first group of children had fun recreating Greek beasts and building lots of shelters!

Each session was planned around what the children enjoyed and wanted to learn about including a whole session based on Dinosaurs. The children had the opportunity to use tools and manage risks and built their confidence in communicating with each other.

The last session was a thank you to the Forest School area for allowing them to “be free”. They learnt about replanting wildflowers, the importance of nature and how they could make a difference.

Of course the snacks went down well too!
