Year 4 Visit to Hooke Court

Year 4 had an amazing time on their 3 day residential to Hooke Court. We experienced Greek stories and learnt how to spell our names in ancient Greek. We then painted our names onto Greek plates which we can take home once they have been delivered.

Other activities we did included shelter building in the forest, singing songs around a campfire and conducting a scientific study on the local river... wet feet alert!

The cohort really enjoyed reenacting Greek battles between the two cities, Athens and Sparta, with shields! Athens! Athens !

We all got stuck in to a Bushcraft Day where we learnt how to cook a variety of food on the fire and some of us even gutted locally caught trout.

The year group were exceptionally well behaved and did us all proud!
