Year 5 Vikings and Anglo Sacxons

Year 5 had a fantastic last day of term by celebrating their Viking and Anglo-Saxon topic. The children took part in several, creative activities and dressed up for the occasion. The children made spiced oat-cakes, which they then sampled in the afternoon and discussed how the Vikings used to forage and farm to survive. The children took part in bracelet making with wool and designed and painted a Viking shield. This was a day enjoyed by all and a fitting end to a fabulous topic.
